The Dave Weckl STL Groove Contingent is one of Dave Weckl's two local St. Louis projects when he’s not on the road. The band features: Rocky Mantia (keys/vox), Teddy McCready (gtr/vox), John King (bass) and Jim Stevens (sax).

What a GREAT right hand 16th notes groove on hi-hats. He doesn’t miss a stroke. Not so easy to play this with that speed. It is around 90 with a timer. He is so relaxed. Playing this groove is like drinking water for him. He is the best👌👌👌👌
