Placidusax's Ruin deals quite a lot of damage [Elden ring]

I tried the Placidusax's Ruin spell on a boss and....well, it payed off! It's a visually appealing spell, and one that does an absurd amount of damage1

Guys it does 600-700 damage per tick even if you're not overleveled. The reason he did so much damage was because the boss was large enough to tick twice from each "swipe" of the beam

My only disappointment is the animation isn't two heads attacking. Amazing clip by the way; it's refreshing to see a build that isn't a bleedfest.

Wow a lot of people love criticizing this clip. Guys it's just a clip saying he did a bunch of damage to a world boss. That's it just a neat clip to watch. No one gives a flying fuck what you're specific meta build is as a mage. No one cares about how you in particular got through the game. He had fun messing with a spell that can be hard to pull off that's it.

You can use his breath in mid aur as well, just use it after jumping from any cliff and he will be floating shooting laser beams in mid air,

Actually, this isn't its full strength, people say it did a lot of damage because the boss was large and many ticks hit him, and that's true, BUT, the boss doesn't need to be large. It takes some practice, but if you free aim you can actually keep the beam in the same spot by turning around in the opposite direction to where the dragon head is turning

Pretty impressive damage for someone within the level 125-150 range and not abusing talisman and spell buffs beforehand.
The Lake of Rot Dragonkin soldier is kind of a menace to boot given it's considered a late game enemy.

Placidusax laser beam are epic, two dragon heads shooting out laser beams at random direction, tearing out everything all around the arena. Love that scene. Also the spear nuke attack is the second coolest attack for me.
