Alexander Fanourakis (Αλέξανδρος Φανουράκης) from Stalís, Iraklion, Crete, Greece, shows how on 11th July 2014 he illegally transports 3 sweltering dogs by putting them into the boot of his car filled with petrol fumes on a dirt road parallel to the parking on the national highway where he uses the dogs to hunt rabbits.

In September 2013, Greece made it illegal for hunters to transport dogs in plastic or wooden boxes attached to the back of a car.

The Police have the power to stop any vehicle and revoke the hunting license of any hunter if the dog is found to be without a microchip, not vaccinated or in the box at the back of a car.

Alexander Fanourakis (Αλέξανδρος Φανουράκης) should be arrested by Greek police for animal abuse under animal welfare law 4039/12
