April 2022 ~ Hunting down an elusive yowie seemed like a good excuse to get away camping for a couple of days in the remote Pilliga Scrub.

Great to see a true blue aussie being himself in the bush. So relatable to me and heaps of others too I reckon. Thanks Jim

I also have seen a black panther in the Blackbutt forestry in Queensland back in the late 70s.

Australia's iconic Yowie is on of the scariest cryptids we have. So iconic in fact they've made several movies and documentaries about these hairy cryptids.

In your Google Earth zoom in, if you look a bit further north in QLD you will see Barakula State Forest. It is the largest State Forest in the Southern Hemisphere.

My father was a bushman and camped in the NSW bush for a few nights, he was telling me one night ( he has no idea of what it was) he was woken up by fear he had never in his life felt, he just kept his eyes closed and prayed for morning to come, but then he felt an incredible feeling of peace that he had never experienced, the very opposite of the fear he felt and felt safe, he said he will never forget the experience, but he packed up and left as soon as dawn came.

Great video Baird, I love that folk song about the weird things going on in the Pilliga Forest and all that absolutely gorgeous nature photography! I have started finding yowies quite fascinating, since Australia's fossil records lacking any trace of primates before homo sapiens arriving makes it all the more curious that people there keep encountering big hairy hominids. Even more interesting that hotspots for Yowie sightings also attract other numinous phenomena like UFOs for instance.

Chances are some areas you were two or more would have been watching your every step. If you walked into the wrong area they didn't want you in they would let you know in a way you are never going forget. You would never go back to spot alone ever again, trust me on that.

You don't have to go scouting for them they'll come Scouting For You. So just be normal and be yourself? And they'll come around just Scooby-Doo and Rocka newbie and they'll come and just be prepared just act normal and you'll get a good response okay? It's all going to be cool trust yourself?! You're on the right track buddy you got this! Thanks for sharing your video! Like I said you got this! Have a great day! I'm excited for you! Tata for now

Not sure why anyone would "want to" find these hairy men? So Many people go missing to whatever fate takes them. Why put yourself into that Danger?
