Did Tom Hanks 'Scold' Man on Cannes Red Carpet?

Rita Wilson is speaking out after photos of her and husband Tom Hanks appear to scold somebody on the red carpet. The photos were taken at the Cannes Film Festival on the red carpet for the premiere of Hanks' new movie "Asteroid City." The beloved actor certainly appears to be scowling and gesturing with a pointed finger. The man seen in the pictures is calling the photo "totally misleading."

I don’t know about the rest, but Tom and Rita don’t even look like they’re scolding the man, at least their faces don’t show “anger.” Once I heard Rita’s response, it made more sense

You can totally see they're asking for directions. And this is so nice of them. People need a life. If it was a video it's going to be more obvious. But they chose a misleading picture.

This is exactly what I’m dealing with at work right now and got sent home about 😂 I lack social expressions and skills. So I basically had to learn and replicate facial expressions to correspond with my emotion, you know, so people dont treat me like a psychopath. But when I’m working I struggle to focus with adhd. So I have to focus my brain on working and pull back the “normal” mask. But my default facial expression just so happens to be “do not approach I will tear your throat out” so when my face and speech is on autopilot people think I’m being rude. I’m a nice guy I swear 😢
