Would you be willing to test how robot vacuums perform on high pile carpet/rugs? It would be interesting to see if different robot vacuums are still able to navigate and clean well on thicker carpets. Thanks

Would love to see you guys do a category solely on ones that just vacuum, no combo robots.

Can you do top 10 chart for robot vacuums without a mop?

+1 vote of appreciation that you paid enough attention to the drawbacks of the Shark app! I bought a previous Shark robot vacuum years ago after seeing your review of its raw performance, but I was disappointed with the poor app experience.

Relevant quote from another review: "Shark put a great vacuum in a mediocre robot". Sounds like they're getting better at the robot part, but the app is definitely still lacking 😢

I’ve been following your work for many years, and I really appreciate your tests. However, the one critical thing I feel is missing is a decibel measurement. While it might not be as crucial in a large house like yours, it’s incredibly important for those of us living in apartments. We clearly hear the noise of the vacuum cleaners and it matters a lot to have one as quiet as possible. Unfortunately I do not find this information in your reviews.

We use our Shark to clean about 1500 sqft of hard floor and carpet areas. These are our high traffic areas. We have dogs. The Shark works very well on dog hair with only a small build up of hair on the roller and side brush. Having to empty the base ever 60 days must may work if you have a house with hard floors, not dirt, and no people. Otherwise expect to clean it out about every 4 or 5 runs. Not just empty the bin. The filter in the robot need to be vacuum clean about every 3 run if you want good suction. All the filters in the base need to be cleaned when the base is dumped (4-5 cleans). I realize that how often it needs to be cleaned depends on the house and traffic. I have had sever non-bin units for at least 15 years. I like the Shark because it does do a good job but the self-clean bin option on vacuums usefulness will depend on your specific situation. The app has not bee a real problem but the one thing I don't like abut it is that it limits the size of the restricted and room areas. You can't just do a hallway as a room. The app will not allow you to go under about 5 feet on a side. That is my biggest complaint.

Can you make a bagless tier? I hate the idea of having to buy bags and replace every single time it fills up. I want to know what is the best bagless one

01:28 Hello, I have a question but first I have to say that you have the best vacuum cleaner channel on Youtube !
I see that you are using a digital anemometer to mesure succion power. What is the unit you use to mesure and why do you convert the value to cfm ?
Why don't you use a digital vaccum gauge to mesure Pa value ?
I'm also reviewing robots in my french Youtube channel and I would like to make this mesure as well.
My purpose is to check if the Pa value indicated by manufacturers is real
I hope you will have time to reply 😉

We had this with the mop. Honestly that would bring the score down. I agree with everything especially the app. This was an entry model for us because the affordability. We have our eyes on a flagship model, then plan to move the Shark in our bedroom, because of the cat litter. We got it for about $300 with the mop attachment.

The shark is okay in theory, but for bagless robovacs the Eureka e20 takes the W for the year. Better app functions and better dustbin emptying system.

I had the 1st Shark self-emptying vacuum. It took about 30 or 40 runs to get the map down, but once it did that, it was actually quite good. And it was pretty quiet.

Can you do a review on the shark power detect cordless stick vacuum with the clean base

Would you ever be willing to test how sealed the auto empty system is? I fear especially with the bagless system like this that some particulates may get back into the air.

I thought I recognized the voice. After doing some digging you are in-fact CW. The community has been wondering where you went. Non the less i still visit your old videos from time to time even after 12 years later. They are so valuable to me because you helped me solidify my beliefs in my weakest when Joe Rogan, AA, and Zie were at its peak. Thank you

Are y'all going to start evaluating docking stations beyond just their advertised features? I'd like to see how many cleanings they can do relative to one another before being refilled and maybe even an emptying/mop washing efficiency for stations that include that

First (ish)! When will the shark never touch review come?

Yes, Shark's app has always been lacking vs. any of its competitors. One of the reasons when it came time to buy a new robo vac we didn't go with Shark, after our experience with a Shark. Bought a Roborock, have been very pleased.
