Can a Ecoflow River Max 576Wh power a diesel heater?

You should be able to use a portable power station to power a portable diesel heater, right? Yes you can if you use the Ecoflow River Max and an all in one diesel heater. Use the Ecoflow DC output which can put out 136 watts to power the start up and subsequent operation of the heater. Using the AC output of the Ecoflow to power a power supply to output 12v will drain the Ecoflow faster.
Run the heater at a lower speed and experiment. Power draw can be as low as 7w on lowest hertz (fuel pump) setting. The power station should be able to power the heater at slow speed for a much longer time. Higher speed uses more battery power to operate the heater fan and fuel pump. Fuel consumption depends more on outside temperature.
Use the DC cigarette lighter output and you'll know at least the diesel heater won't trip the circuit protection at start up when the diesel heater 's glow plug is heating up.

Hi there, good to see the EcoFlow can power the diesel heater. I have the same setup but, can’t start it up, it’s showing 8A on my DC car outlet. How do you get 10A? Thanks

I have an EcoFlow River 2 pro 768W. I am trying to power eberspacher d2 airtronic from dc car output as like yours. It's start working but overload after 100w and stop the power. as I see at the beginning it can use about 150-160 W power from power station and its decrease to 20-40W after 1-2 minutes. but my setup never pass over 100W. how can you get more than 100W from this output ?

You should do research on diesel exhaust and your health. I'm a retired truck driver, have respitory issues, have never smoked.
