I don’t think there’s any issue with giving Sonny a new contract from the club side. We’ve heard reports of the club wanting and trying to do so since last year. I think the hesitancy is coming from Son. This will likely be his last major contract and his last chance to leave and still be good enough to make an impact at a big club elsewhere. I believe he himself does not know what he’s going to do but he does not want to lock himself down at this moment. I hope he stays until he retires.

The manager explained why he subbed Sony. He did not want to repeat the injury episode that last time he returned from an extended injury. So Sony has to be saved from himself. God that he still have the desire to play but we must trust the manager and the medical team. And yes he deserves a contract extension.

Honestly Bobby would be a good signing. Cannon of a left foot, lethal shooter, great physicality and pace. Con is his decision making. He is a CF/ST, not much of a winger

What Spurs need is a ldft back who can also play right back and vice versa. Alternatively a left back who can play left center back and a right back who can play right center back. Porro, Spence, Gray, Udogie, Ben Davis and Micky can all play as the right and center backs respectively. So that is 6 players to cover 2 positions. Davis, Gray, Micky, Dragusin, Romero. That's 5 players to cover 2 slots. Spurs have Phillips on loan that they need to develop. So no need to go into the market unless one of the existing team members leave.
