🧪Catalytic Decomposition of H2O2 using MnO2 - Mr Pauller

preview_player
Показать описание
This video shows a demonstration of the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide using manganese (IV) oxide as a catalyst.

Reaction: 2H2O2 = 2H2O + O2

The wood splint with the glowing ember ignites due to the high concentration of oxygen gas inside of the Erlenmeyer flask.

Can u please tell that h2o2 will decompose into water and oxygen after about how much time on adding mno2 ?
Also, plz tell the temperature and pressure involved
And, is it exothermic, endothermic, or none ?
