I've read that this song is about his (ex) wife, Elizabeth, who took over as his business manager because she was a tough negotiator. If you notice, all of the "tough" things about her are what she'll do to "you, " but she's "always a woman to me." It's really interesting to see that some commenters like this better than the original and think in particular that it is done with more feeling, while others think the opposite. Such is art. As for me, I like this one better. Can't stop playing it.
