Opening up a new Lenovo B590 Laptop. This one has an Intel i3 Processor and 2 GB of RAM and came from MicroCenter with Windows 7 Pro. If you are looking at this model I highly recommend getting at least 4 GB of RAM. It is extremely slow with only 2GB available. I installed another 4 GB after this video was made. This was configured for a student attending CSU; good for basic school work, movies and web. It doesn't have enough power for video games and video editing. Recorded with a JVC Everio. Soundtrack generated with Pinnacle.

i also have this laptop lenovo b590 and it is amazing

+Jan Fűrst It will certainly run some games, but it is by no means a gaming laptop. Ideally it should have discrete graphics and about 8GB of RAM to do justice to modern video games.

Well it can do light gaming i play call of duty modern warfare. NFS most wanted, etc with good quality and no lag. dont underestimate i3+4GB ram

i have the I5 2.5Ghz edition with 3.2GHz turbo mode. intel hd 4000 graphics. stock 4GB ram + bought 4GB corsair veagence

Someone in my town who refurbishes and upgrades laptops and such is selling this for $240 with some extras. He has upgraded the RAM to 8gigs ... Do you think it is worth the cost, being refurbished and all? All I would do on it is store/listen to music, store photos, stream tv shows and browse the internet.

Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a laptop for video editing.
I intend to use sony vegas, cinema4d and photoshop, how well do you think it will run those programs?
Also if there is a better computer in the same price range could you recommend something :) thanks

i just got the same one for christmas but isnt there suppose to be a service pack 2 for windows 7 correct? off the top of my head there is ... well where do i find the Anytime windows upgrade key?

hi, can you connect to 5ghz wifi signal on these low end laptops? I have a Dell XPS from about 3 years ago and 5ghz wifi is not supported.

Is that bad for photo editing and photoshop? I do my photo editing in a desktop computer with an old processor and a 2gb memory ram. Do you think this one will be too bad for it? I don't do video or sound editing but I'd like to know how you think it goes with Adobe.

I am about to buy this laptop for my grand dad .. I was wondering, if i need to format this laptop and re install windows .. will I be force to install windows 8 ??(since this laptop only comes with windows 8 disks) ...or... is there a recovery partition with windows 7 ?? or I will be able to create windows 7 recovery discs. You see, Windows 7 is very important for my grand dad, I hope you understand what I'm saying, thank you for your help..
