Started buying last year. It checks off all the boxes I'm looking for. It has a sub 30 payout ratio, so I see the dividend as much safer than Simply Safe does. LYB provides the basic inputs upon which a multitude of other industries depend, and it generates much more cash than they can intelligently invest back into the business which bodes well for shareholders looking for both cash flow through dividends and returns through buybacks.
