This is hysterical! Not only is it amazing how Charles Martinet is playing a role against type (and it’s anti-Barney humor no less), I love how Tom Arnold is the recipient of the insults, even if it’s within the context of the movie. Massive props to whoever designed the mouth movements and mechanics of the costume too, Arnie’s reactions never fail to make me laugh.

I met Charles Martinet twice. He’s awesome as Mario. Found out later on he was in this role. It’s hilarious. :)

I saw this when I was 9 years old and I was cracking up when Arnie called him a cheap shit and my mom was giving me a crazy look because she knew I was laughing at it.

Fun fact: the voice actor for Arnie was the voice actor for Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi. He retired from the roles 8 months ago😢 and he is now a Mario Ambassador
