I had an accident a little bit ago abd rolled my ankle here’s the story:

So one day I was at a show and poles was up next ( it’s where there are 6 poles and you weive through them 2 times then run home) and lately I’ve been having problems with poles. So bassically we were in a rush so my sister tightened my saddle and I was up so I ran down to the 5th pole and my horse cut in early and reared and my saddle flipped sideways and she took off running. My foot got caught and I had the other loose so I was basically dragged but I wasn’t touching the ground and I was trying to get my foot unstuck and she just kept going and my foot wasn’t getting out and she ran all the way to the gate/catchpen and that’s when I finally got it loose and fell. (In this type of accident it’s safest to fall instead of getting back up.) so I fell and rolled back so I didn’t get stepped on and luckily someone caught her and my sister grabbed her. Meanwhile I was still on the ground because I was in shock and my mom, trainer, and friend came over to me and made sure I was ok. I think I was like in shock because I didn’t feel any pain but later that night I had swelling and back pain. I said I was fine and my friend helped me to a chair and I sat down for a little bit I then went on to complete the show and later that night I was getting ready for bed and I walk out to grab a drink and I feel this aweful pain and cry out in pain then I look at my ankle and see that it’s purple and swollen. I grabbed an ice pack and layed down then I saw a bruise on my leg and my back hurt. Luckily it was just a sprain on my ankle but my back was just hurt along with my leg I’m ok I think that when she was running my leg hit her leg so that’s what happened to my leg and my back was from falling and my ankle was from being sideways. I’ve been working with her and we’ve gotten better but I mentally am still scared. My horse came out with no injuries luckily but it could’ve been a lot worse

just a tip is if ur hanging of the side as u were in on of the clips letting go it the safest thing to do bc the horse could step on ur or kick u u handled most of them very well tho well done

Those are terrifying!!! Hope you are okay! Also..I heard the air best u had on in the last clip, and there has been research to prove that those vests are not the best, one reason being they can actually compress your lungs and they can cause more pain, second with it being so loud it can cause your horse and other horses to spook and I know other horses because I was riding and somebody’s best went off and my horse freaked!

That palamino is a meanace 😂 no but very well done on all of them. You have a natural talent of falling correctly. Some people do and some try to hold the reins too long or put their hands to the ground. That’s how bones are broken
