I made an STL to ASCII Generator that lets you upload a 3D model and render it with ASCII characters! You can download ASCII art as a jpeg or a text document, and it’s really fun to experiment with. It's easy to use, free, and completely open source. Links and more below!

Heyyy o/ I just came across this because I was interested in making some ASCII 3D models etc, I was wondering if its possible to use this script inside Blender? possible make some animations etc Geometry Nodes.

Interesting. Let's remember, however, that DOS-era text monitors had a "resolution" (number of lines and columns of text characters) that was too small to display anything beautiful, detailed.

Love the project. By the way, I have a question if you know a way to export an object to a STL file for 3D printing using Three.js.
