Ineos Grenadiers Mont Ventoux Destruction

Ivan Sosa of the Ineos Grenadiers attacked on the brutal ascent of Mont Ventoux on stage 3 of the 2021 Tour de La Provence, racing to take the stage win ahead of teammate Egan Bernal and rival Julian Alaphilippe, and taking the overall race lead in the process.

This was an interesting stage and these highlights are better than normal. Publishing 5 days after the event doesn't really help though especially when Lanterne Rouge smashes out highlights with suberb analysis on day 1.

i went on Mont Ventoux by bike some years ago. It was reallY fantastic!! And I well know mountains because I live in north of Italy near Switzerland

Crazy to think that roglic and pogacar were doing this exact same thing to ineos at the tour last year although that was v impressive by sousa mega strong

Im a big Sosa fan and he is so talented but also so inconsistent. Love seeing him smash it on days like this though. Hopefully he can maintain form going into the summer.

Très beau et très surprenante cette montée du Mont Ventoux avec ce pourcentage affiché à chaque prochain kilomètre ;, en tant que cyclotouriste chevronné, je l'ai gravi en 2006 à l'issue d'un " Mer-Montagne" : j'ai monté en mai à partir de Malaucène, il y avait de la neige proche du sommet quant au départ de Bédouin il n'était pas autorisé pour la quantité d'enneigement ...
