Here is my top 10 list of PERFECT watches. Yes this is a really subjective view on timepieces and not everyone will share my opinion but hopefully this will get you thinking what your perfect piece is.

Love the Speedy, BB58, Explorer 1 right off rhe bar. And the Dumont is lovely. Big CW fan, so agree with the 12. I prefer a Khaki mechanical field watch - classic design. What about the Timex Marlin - a classic mid-century design! Too many options, but i agree with many of yours.

I might add a Marathon GSAR as a field watch and military, JLC Reverso Duoface as a dress watch (but I can see the Santos here), and in my opinion (but I can see both options) I'd pick the Aqua Terra over the Explorer. But i would add a Rolex GMT, the Christopher Ward Chiming watch, definitely the Speedmaster (although you could choose the Zeneth El Primero over this - but I would choose both over the Daytona). Agree with you about the Black Bay over the Submariner. For a summer watch either a 62MAS or Squale with light blue and white bezel. I might want to add a Sinn (U1, UTC, 104) in here and Nomos bauhaus style watch (Tangente). Agree Gotta have a G-shock in here too. My ultimate collection would also have a A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 and a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.

I don't think I have a perfect watch, there is always something. In general no date Submariner is probably the closest match.
My perfect would be Seiko SBDX012 with sapphire, ceramic bezel and no monoblock case. Or Rolex Pepsi GMT without cyclops.
