The Sacrament of Baptism 3 The Effects of Baptism

In part three of the six parts series on the Sacrament of Baptism, we look at how the Sacrament justifies in the eradication of sins and the inner sanctification of our soul. In Baptism the punishment of sins both from the Original Sin and personal sins (mortal and venial) are remitted. The Baptismal character of the Sacrament requires that it leaves the indelible spiritual mark on the soul, and for this reason, the valid Sacrament of Baptism can never be repeated.
