At least Zoey is consistent. She's selfish af with all of her friends. Every one of them.

I'M MAD AT HER AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO ME.

The problem is Zoey lives in a bubble. She went to private school. Lived in a very affiliate suburbs. Her parents paid for her tuitions. So she never really faced any hardship. So she never really considered how much a good job can help.

I'm actually proud of him for standing up for himself with her and he was able to communicate it without being disrespectful to her. She better actually follow through and make it up to him because an I'm sorry isn't enough.

Zoey should have just left it, it’s so selfish, she just wanted forgiveness, not considering about how disappointed and angry Aaron must be...

Aaron: "How'd it take me this long to realize how selfish you are?"

Zoey:

Aaron: “That's crazy.🚶🏿‍♂️🚪”

The realist conversation on the show. Ever.

If we’re being honest, I’m actually surprised he didn’t go off even more than that. I feel like Zoey doesn’t process in her mind that this is real life and that she’s messing up someone’s life because of some college drama

Finally, somebody said it.. this scene was oddly satisfying., I feel like Zoey needs a reality check more often.

I hate Zoey's character. She's so selfish. It was so obvious how selfish she was since Blackish

The amount of disappointment in his voice says he still loved her 😭😭😭 I replayed this scene over and over again I love him.

It's funny because it's not even the fact that she didn't get him the interview; he wouldn't be upset if she tried and her dad still didn't take him on. Its the fact that she didn't even try. He wasn't a priority on her mind at all, yet when it comes to her, everyone has to drop what they're doing or what they're talking about and make it about herself. Glad he told her off, gahdam

I really thought he was going to forgive her, no questions asked, but this needed to happen, it really did.

Zoey could of just left and let Aaron cool down instead she kept pushing and this was the end result. Everything he said was truth.

I think the reason that she never grasped it up until this point is because of the situations that she was being told in. When Jazz called Zoey selfish, it was out of spite. When Nomi said it, it was out of spite. When Luca said it, it wasn’t really credible because honestly he’s more selfish than she is. Aaron was the only one doing it out of genuine concern and hurt.

He only person to realise how selfish she is and point it out. Hopefully they let her learn and change instead of the usually find away to fix this without Zoey having to become self aware, change and grow
