About Season 6 of The Chi: This season, life in THE CHI reverberates between the highest highs and lowest lows. Really hope the show doesn’t rekindle papa and Maisha. She is good with Kevin this show has too many on and off relationships it’d be nice for papa and maisha just to have a strong friendship. Plus if they were gonna do this they should’ve had Kevin and maisha break up.

The character with Kevin, the older he gets, the more they betray his character. He has a few moments in his childhood where he exudes strength willing to do something. But then easily reverts back to a coward. I mean they don’t have one but two of his friends that are in the position to betray him. And then two of the females that he was with either betray him or have the intention to betray him.

I could see the signs of this happening long before this ever happened. More often than not they never portrayed a black male character true to the essence and core of manhood masculinity balance suit of what it means to be a black man. And they don’t do certain black female characters like either. It’s just stereotypes stacked on top of stereotypes. And people don’t see these things until these moments become prevalent throughout the series. But I see the writing on the wall from episode seven or 10.

I don’t say much because I’m trying to be peoples energy down, but I’m aware of what’s going on in the direction the show was going to.

Oh no, I hope the writers and producers of the show aren't going to mess with Kevin's emotions again. He's already been through a difficult time when he found out that Jemma and one of his best friends were together, which affected their relationship. Kevin cares deeply about his lady, and it's clear (at least the first half of season 6) that she and Papa are fully aware of his feelings. It wouldn't be fair for him to find out about their supposedly relationship now.
