Welcome to a Star Citizen Organization Spotlight trying to find the right orgs for the right people. Having the right group to play star citizen with is going to vasting effect your gameplay experience in the future, how you play and enjoy the game IT IS SOOO IMPORTANT! This time looking at the Org Self Made.

Star Citizen is a First Person MMO Space Sim that covers gameplay in ship & on ground, economy and pretty much anything else you would want. It's First Person and built in the StarEngine (a modified Lumberyard Engine). You'll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or whatever your way to whatever goal you choose.
Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign and the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is maximum pretty and seamless... NO LOADING SCREENS. It's currently in the Alpha of it's open development with the hope that SQ42 will be released Q4 2017 - Q2 2018.

Seems like a pretty cool org....hits most of my bullet points...will look into it. I actually think I met TheJohnGalt in game (2.6.3) a couple weeks ago. Seemed like a helpful chap for answering others noob questions (of which I most certainly am still)... :)

The mechanics to support their org may not yet exist, but having orgs like this around really helps shape the game as a really dynamic and diverse environment, particularly looking toward the future. Thanks, Bored!

I think the broad range of activities that many Orgs or Corps are showing like SELF MADE will make alternative Sideorgs interesting, like Unions or Faith communities, or Organisations like Operation Pitchfork will be the glue that will bind many of this small to middle sized orgs together.
