If you were to relate this years TOC lineup to Disney characters heres who would they would be based on how they played their personalities and their professions
Francois=Merlin Because he won the champion title once
Dhruv=Andy Because of his college championship win
Emma=Belle because of her liberian job
Eric=Mickey because of him having black facial features
Alan= Woody because he has a western last name in the form of Dunn
Gilbert=Scrooge because he was the first streaker of 2018
Lindsey=Minnie Mouse because of her hair look and grin
Anneke= Mama Coco because of her Mexican last name Garcia
Steven=High School Musical Kid because of his last name Grade
Rob= Pete because of how much money he bids during Daliy Doubles
Ryan=Dumbo because he had a two part winning streak and his run was like a trapeze act
Josh=Shere Khan because of being called Mr Tiger Claw
Kyle=Ringmaster because he started Season 35s show off with 7 wins
Rachel=Mulan because of her bravery and courage when playing the game
James=The Beast because of his gambling and big Daliy Double and Final Jeopardy wagers

This year's TOC's is kind of opposite to what it looked like last year because if you look at every one of the contestants, 6 of them this year have glasses on. Last TOC had 9 contestants with glasses on.
