Our tariff policies are *changing daily and sometimes hourly*, via tweets! How the hell is any business or enterprise supposed to plan *without any clue as to what's going to happen tomorrow, let alone in a month or year* ?

I'm a contractor and run a small business . I might be getting calls by potential customers but until the deal is signed a phone call is meaningless. Funny how they precieve that china wants to come to the table at the same time raising terriffs themselves.

It is patently absurd what is happening in the US. Farewell world good will, America alone, not first.

Are you tired of so much winning Lara? The Trump family is so smart, specially Donald, only 6 bankruptcies. The American economy will be his 7th. Congratulations!!!

Yesterday Trump said 50 countries were coming to him to negotiate. Now she is saying it’s 75 countries. This morning the White House reported it was 15 countries. 😂😂😂

The world is negotiating without the US. I think the US has to deal with itself first.

In order to get back manufacturing companies to the US, tariffs on their own won’t work. Building factories would require for instance, government subsidies. Otherwise American companies will not make those enormous investments which are required for moving ”home”. In addition to that, the US has to make huge investments in the American education system in order for the country to provide businesses with highly qualified workers. Moreover, getting back manufacturing jobs to the US, would require a long term plan, perhaps of five to ten years, where the US government actively seeks to implement strategies in order to make domestic manufacturing profitable. This turnaround has to be bipartisan.
