Oj Šermukšnio/Oh Rowan tree is quite a well known commonwealth song about the winged hussars. This version is in Lithuanian. The song is not mine, enjoy!

Serbian Eagle that's should be a song about the winged hussars who were active in the gran duchy of Lithuania/Polonia Who last very long from the 16th century (about)to the early 18th century. The hussars were in their golden age in the 16th century and yep they fought many rivals like Turks and Swedish like in this video. Their magnificence finished right in the 18th century when the world lost the magic spell of the medieval ages or the Baroque years. The cavalry in fact didn't use anymore to fight with swords or spears and that's why cavalry in Poland/Lithuania was abolished. Off course it was possibly too expensive, not enough for the modern weapons.
