Mithun Chakraborty is a Indian film actor who is also known as ‘Mithun Da‘ was born as Gourang Chakraborty on 16 June 1950 in Barisal Bangladesh into the Hindu-Bengali family. His father was late Basantokumar Chakraborty. His mother name is Santirani Chakraborty. He had one brother who was died in an electrocuted accident.

he had a relationship with model-actress Helena Luke whom he married in 1979 but they eventually parted ways after four months. In 1979, he married to the Indian actress Yogeeta Bali, who was the third wife of Kishore Kumar. In the 1980s, Mithun had a love affair with popular actress Sridevi. in 1985 they secretly married which Mithun later accepted to the media after a ‘Fan’ magazine published their marriage certificate. Later on, he took divorce in 1988 and returned to his X-wife Yoggeta Bali.

Mithun and Yogeeta Bali has three sons named Mahaakshay Chakraborty Mimoh, Ushmey Chakraborty & Namashi Chakraborty. He has a Daughter name Dishani Chakraborty. Dishani was adopted by Mithun and Yogeeta Bali.
