I actually really like this idea. Its always a hard notion when someone you do everything for turns and takes what was originally set out for you. Ofc we know Scar is petty and unjustified in his older age but i really think stories like this leave a bittersweet taste and give what is already a great villian more to backtrack on. From the context in the first film this seems in line i cant wait.
