Who is Manchin praying to? Likely the coal company board of directors. He wants to get back to pretty much always voting republican. These few times he's literally been dragged kicking and screaming to vote Democratic is reeking havoc with his bottom line.

Ya, right Joe, that's what you say today. Tomorrow it will be something else. In a word: you can't be trusted.

Simple answer, if he doesn't want to be in this position (guess what Joe, the easy ride is over) he needs to get TF out of politics and retire. He's doing NO ONE any good.

Yeah he wants it to end so all of the pressure isn’t on him anymore.

I'm praying that the Democrats will no longer have to depend on Manchin or Sinema.

In other news, Marjorie "Traitor" Greene's husband of 27 years files for divorce!
What took him so long? 😂😂😂

The fact that he finds his position uncomfortable doesn't give me any sympathy for him.

He'd rather be overruled? He's not concerned that his vote will be thwarted? That tells me he never believed he was doing the right thing, but only the politically convenient thing.

Wasn't he opposed to do away with the filibuster?

Yeah sure, because it really bothers him so much to be at the center of it all.

Need 6-8 Senators representing California

No one wants him to be such a pivotal vote in the Senate. If we get a 53/47 Senate it would be better for everyone involved.

He would probably rather have a few more republican seats so he can use them for cover

We need 52-48 to make up for Joe and Kirsten.

Even a couple more Democratic senators would demote him and the other DINO from roadblocks to nuisances.

I'm sure hes praying the Republicans pick up more seats...

He probably IS tired of a 50/50 Senate. He'd rather the Republicans pick a few seats so he can continue to sorta kinda act like a sorta kinda Democrat yet still see the legislation he truly wants passed. The fact that the Dems have not made it clear to him that he is going to be primaried - along with Sinema - is inexcusable.

Manchin HAS enjoyed being a deciding vote -- Sinema has enjoyed it even more.
