Great playhouse, my daughter asked me for 1, she has several friends that spend the day here, O figure though, I gotta make it safe like you did, I'm gonna take my time and use several joints, brackets & screws to make it safe, I'm in CT, I live by the river, VERY clay"ee" soil, I'm thinking about digging a 6x8ft hole 6-8 inches deep and pouring concrete to hold the 4x4 beams up. Than build from there, idk I'm skilled as u to make a second floor though... Should I? Idk.

Awesome build! I'm in the process of designing one of these for my kids. I have a fee questions. If you have the time I'd appreciate your input:

1) What plywood did you use?

2) Aren't you you worried about the house sinking given the narrow supports?

3) Did you use any weather-proofing paint?

Didn't see you do much measuring and cutting. I want to be able to make something that doesn't require so much measuring cutting and waste. Did you make it according the size lumber you purchased or did you if fact have to cut?
