UNI-T UTD1025CL is a lightweight single-channel handheld scopemeter with a bandwidth of 25 MHz and a sample rate of 200 MS/s. The UTD1025CL may also perform multimeter measurements: AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacity, diode and continuity tests.

Let’s take a closer look at the design of the oscilloscope. The front panel has a 3.5-inch display and controls. The left side contains a calibration signal output. A power supply unit and an USB connection are located on the right side, oscilloscope and multimeter connectors – on top. The back panel houses a lithium-polymeric battery with a capacity of 3600 mAh. Thanks to the high-quality housing material, the oscilloscope may be conveniently held with one hand and the rubber plastic prevents the device from slipping out. A convenient support stand completes the design.

In terms of technical specifications, the UTD1025CL, it is a portable single-channel digital oscilloscope, offering powerful capabilities of signal triggering: Edge, Pulse, Video, and Alternate.
In the multimeter mode, the device allows measuring AC and DC voltage and current, resistance, and capacitance and may run diode tests and continuity checks. The UTD1025CL may be synchronized with a PC.
The oscilloscope has a function of step-frame signal recording. To enter the record mode, press STORAGE/RECORD button, then press F1 button to select the recording mode. F4 button starts recording. The top right corner of the screen displays the data about the total frame number and the number of the current frame. The in-built memory allows storing up to 5 records with 300 frames in each.
The user may stop recording and take a closer look at specific data at any point. You may move to any frame using navigation buttons. Save the signal for further data processing or transfer with 5 available memory slots.
This signal may be transferred and examined on a PC using special-purpose software.
We'll demonstrate the operation of the oscilloscope with test signals with an amplitude of 4 V: sin 1 kHz; sin 100 kHz; sin 1MHz; sin 5 MHz; sin 10 MHz; sin 15 MHz; sin 20 MHz; and sin 25 MHz.
Despite amplitude roll-off beyond the bandwidth edge, specifically, at 30 and 40 MHz, the device displays signal delivery and frequency.
Waveforms of 1 kHz signal; 100 kHz signal; 1 MHz signal; 5 MHz signal; 10 MHz signal; 15 MHz signal; 20 MHz, and 25 MHz at a square waveform have a sin shape as expected.

The device is sold in a handy bag. In addition to the oscilloscope itself, you can accommodate a number of useful items in a special compartment of the bag.
The manufacturer succeeded in delivering a full-function oscilloscope in a housing of standard multimeter size.

The oscilloscope package contains pretty much everything you need:
✓ oscilloscope measurement probes
✓ mini USB cable
✓ power cable
✓ probes with alligator clips
✓ multimeter measurement probe
✓ bypass adapter for measuring current up to 10 A
✓ static power supply unit
✓ CD with software

To sum up, UTD1025CL has all the functional features of an oscilloscope in a compact housing. However, its price is more affordable compared to other similar models. Thanks to the multimeter features and a long battery run time, it’s an essential tool for field operations.
UNI-T have once again succeeded in creating a high-performance affordable measuring device.

maybe not so much a review as a demo, but still very helpful. Backing track is completely appropriate for this friday afternoon, too. :)

¿Tested the auto off funtion ?
I got the UNI-T UT81B and is the worst osci/multimeter i ever get because of  auto off (4 minutes delay and auto off my seeting) the batteries dies in 2 days or less if i leave the muti whitout using the off selector and  ended geting a brymen 967 and 0 issues soo far whit the autooff and years ago got a 90 e meter whit same shiti issue.
