I lost my bestbud last February and this song is one of his faves, and I really really miss him. We're freshmen in college and we took the same course in the same institution, which he loved and I didn't. Everything went downhill after his passing. It's like as if the world was spinning so fast while I stood still. Ang hirapp.. Especially when I kept on dreaming about him. Siguro it's my subconscious telling me to let go, but ang hirap.. I'm scared na I might forget his voice, his laugh, and his tight hugs when time passes.

After being hospitalized for a month, I've seen him in great pain and agony. But our last interaction really served a great impact to me. Last namin nagkausap was a week before his passing, I visited him in his hospital room and the moment he saw me his faced brightened, antaas ng ngiti nya nung pagkakita nya na ako yung dumating. Pinipigilan ko lang sarili ko na magbreakdown on spot, because it was the first time nakita ko syang ngumiti after all the surgeries he had undergone, and last thing he told me before I left was "Thank you so much Mer"

Thank you din... I will still be your bestbud, your cramming partner, your kapwa enhinyerong sibil in our next life🫂

Kaya lagi niyong tatandaan na kahit ano man ang status o anong mang klasing Buhay ang meron natin dito sa Mundo dapat palagi tayong magpasalamat sa diyos at palagi nating bigyan Ng panahon o oras ang mga taong mahal natin. I remember every Friday or Monday night the boys (3-6 guys who are 17-25 smth) they would play their guitar and sing this, drink coffee and watch over the place. Yes they were my neighbors. You might think it's annoying like karaoke at night but their voices are so amazing together that I wish I could've recorded it and listen to it whenever I sleep.
Now some of the boys moved. They never played music since then... I would never forget those calm sleepy moments, they didn't know it but they helped me sleep
