Sweet! Thank you YouTube! (It did it to my screen video capture too!)

@pmd5700 in order to make a ground, just physically build a box in solidworks and put your model on top of it. Make sure the your ground is larger than the computational area so edges arnt considered in the test. Check out another vid on my channel of another improved test i did on the same car.

@doublec4 I just placed the model on a rectangle platform i made in the program. Then make sure the testing box is smaller than the platform so it acts like a 'ground'.

How did you set the conditions so that there is a "ground"? I'm trying to test a car body and my model is floating in the middle of the boundary box. Thanks!

@GTSRBOY Can you expand on this a little more, I am trying to do something similar, but can't quite figure out what you mean. Thanks

@GTSRBOY I did the same thing (placed the extruded box beneath my object), even put two boxes left and right and one on the top - simulated a wind tunnel by this way. And the Flow trajectories do surpass the boxes.
But if you take a look at the Cut plot, the air pressure is acting like the boxes do not even exist. Air is passing through them. I will send you a screenshot by private message, as it is not allowed to post links in youtube replies. Please do tell me what do you think about this?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to setup the same wind tunnel using Autodesk Algor/Simulation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why SW doesn't simulate the turbulent flow behind the car?

@gpktm Hi gqktm, you will want to ask GTSRBOY that, sorry I do not know
