Always remember the propeller is a big fan that keeps the pilot cool, when it stops the pilot starts sweating

"I'd tap that"... lol.. And the line- "I've determined my flight YESTERDAY was safe"... You're making me look like a looney when I burst out laughing for no reason in my office..

Thanks for the shares, thumbs up and comments. Hopefully no Cirrus pilots' feelings were hurt in the making of this video. They are really great airplanes and I take flying and safety EXTREMELY seriously. That said, I like to have fun and I think there is a lot of fun to be had in flying. Thanks.

"Big tubes and little tubes, " best piece of advice to date.

I was a big believer in feeling the propeller as it turned in order to feel for variations in the balance. I am currently a big believer in hands free operations.

As for Cloud Residue (good catch), be careful not to inhale it as it fogs the mind.

*rubbing the tail* "It's good to look like you're doing something, but really, I mean, you've got a parachute" 🤣

I use the pee jar to make sure that there's not too much fuel in the water tanks. You probably need about 50/50 or so.
Kinda obvious, as a light sport guy myself, that you snooty guys can't even tell when the end of one of your wings was replaced with a Cessna wing- which is why it doesn't fit.

Yep, that pretty much sums up Cirrus Pilots! You should copy the walk around a 747 pilot does, "2 wings - CK, 4 Engines - Ck Tail Thingy - CK, enough wheels - Ck O.K lets go flying!!

That's brilliant Brian. Tap the bottom of the wing to check for water was the funniest!! Love it..

You had me laughing through the entire video, especially when you finished the last half of the pre-flight AFTER you made your trip 😂 Hilarious video man, I'll be sure to see if those hoses are there next time I fly 😂

I laughed pretty hard when you went to talk about the static port lol. A great, satire, video!

One thing that you should really emphasize is having an appropriate vape juice reserve. I had a very unfortune occurrence where I had to perform a power on no CH00T landong due to magenta line being inop and making my way into vmc. Now, of course I attempted to vape my way out of the situation, but before ifr could be recovered I was out of juice and had to go through my emergency procedures. Now, being a Mesa Airlines veteran, and learning under $wag Martin himself I was confident in my abilities. However, you standard pilot probably could not have handled the situation due to the no CH00T requirement in the class M airspace I was in. Let this be a lesson to all. Keep an appropriate vape reserve at all times, and avoid class M if at all possible, the no CH00T requirement is awful, and should be taken out of the AME. #vapesaveslives

I spent 3 hours over the weekend looking for and removing all that nasty cloud residue that had built up. Thanks for the tip... lol 😂 😜😉

As a certified lawnmower mechanic used to spinning gizmos, I can tell you that it only takes 3 screws on that spinner thingy to hold the propeller on. 2 if you absolutely have to get away from your girlfriends daddy. The other thing is that it's ok to fly with cloud residue on 1 wing but not both. It's not good to have both wings heavier than your mother inlaw. 1 yes, both no. Too slow to get away from daddy and his shotgun. lol. Have a great day!

Now teaching students to make sure there is no cloud residue. Thank you for the solid advise. Good Stuff and funny to boot.
