That was another shocking performance. To be honest, I can’t fault the team’s effort, the quality just wasn’t there on the night really. Happy to see Bailly back and had a good game alongside Smalling. I guess that should our starting CB partnership going forward. I was more impressed with Bailly’s concentration throughout the whole game and I hope he keeps it up, but both CBs were shocking on the ball. Valencia? He was caught out a lot of times today, but if he can’t defend, what exactly does he offer us on the pitch? I think it’s time to move on. I don’t want to see him start a game anytime soon. Shaw was very impressive on the night both defensively and offensively. Alexis was poor again on the right and I thought both he and Rashford would have switched wings for a few minutes. I can’t blame the forwards today, that midfield is DEAD. Matic? He would take 5 fucking touches and passes it fucking sideways. Fellaini? Not exactly a forward passer, is he? Pogba the only midfielder capable of playing forward passes, but prefers to be up the pitch and dwells on the ball sometimes. Pereira and Fred? They join in the fucking sideways passes as was shown in the Brighton game and Wolves (Fred). Can Rashford stop taking corners also? Not good enough.

How is it a surprise we have one of the slowest build-ups in the league? Some fans are surprised our forwards don’t have chemistry when they have to keep moving in search of the ball because the midfield isn’t positive. You know your midfield is shit when Rooney in the midfield would have played more forward passes than the entire midfield tonight, not Carrick, Wayne fucking Rooney. Did you see the space Valencia gave us to make forward passes? The funny thing is that some ask why I still mention Carrick. I think we need to rip this whole midfield apart and start again because you can’t win titles with that shit midfield. Martial came on, but had to drop deep to get the ball and beat 5 players SMH. Valencia was there for the taking, but our quality wasn’t there. Lukaku? When Arnautovic a makeshift striker, can hold the ball up better than your striker and has better linkup play, you have a lot of problems. It was so awkward seeing him dribble himself and he seriously needs to work hard on himself and stop hiding behind players in the fucking box. Someone needs to tell him this shit FFS. We might as well try Greenwood. We need better players whether Jose stays or leaves, too many unforced errors and shocking decisions on the ball.
