The flashtool I'm providing Is mostly for the Xperia devices

follow instructions on the flashing software. It depends on which software you use, but most of them require you hold power and home button (for the xperia phones at least)

This video didn't work for me, but I came back to give a strategy to the other people that the video didn't work for. After trying this method, I got really pissed off and left my phone connected to the computer without the battery in it. It must have sat there for like 4-5 hours before I came back. when I came back I popped the battery back in, didn't mess with the cord, and tried to boot into bootloader. It worked first try. Worth a shot, everyone

I currently dont have any thing for Ace, but If you find the right firmware you can always try flash It with that. This flashtool is mostly for Xperia devices but It never hurts to try on something else.

Hello. I have a problem on my SEMC Xperia Arc. I attempted to repair it on Sony Bridge for Mac. It said, 'Repairing Xperia firmware' and the bar was half green. Then it said that there was an error. Now, when I switch on my phone, it says Sony Ericsson, and after 4 seconds, an error logo with a phone came and I could not access my phone. Please help. BTW - I have a Mac. I have tried to hold the power button and home button and all other tries, but no luck. PLEASE HELP!

Says the same on, AVG Free, Microsoft Security Essentials.
That Is because It's a hacking tool for the phone so normally the Antivirus software says It's a threat when It means no harm to your phone or computer.

Haven't tried on that phone, but I might link a newer update of the software that supports a bigger range of phones.
