My fave, though you may not count it because it's not quite a dot-gobbler, is Pepper II on the Colecovision. Such a great game, though I've never seen the original arcade version.

I'm surprised you haven't got Lock and Chase on the list, especially the gameboy version!

I love Gauntlet which is kinda like a dot gobbling maze game since you navigate increasingly hard mazes gobbling food, potions, and treasure.

I loved KC Munchkin. The sequel uses the voice module which makes it even better!

Nice top ten of Dot Gobbling maze games(Pac-man)! I have always like Ms. Pac-man! And that Baby Pac-man for the 7800 sounds neat! I will have to pick it up sometime soon! Ladybug is fun too. There is a version for the Atari 2600 too! Good video!

Never heard of Trog. Very interesting. I'll have to look for it.

Agree with #1... and the artwork is great too. But no Nibbler? That was a late discovery for me at Free Play. Early boards are easy but gets hard quickly. Basic game, lots of fun.

Nice group of games. Dodge 'Em is a favorite of mine! Ms. Pac-Man I have so many versions, it is crazy (2600, 5200, 7800, NES, Genesis, Lynx). I have the 7800 port of KC Munchkin that Bob made as well as his port of Baby Pac-Man for the system. Love both games!

Great list. Ladybug and Mousetrap in the arcade are probably my 2 favorites.

Those are all strong games... but my heart will always belong to the original 1980 Pac-Man arcade game. Try as everyone has, you can’t improve on perfection.

As a fellow ColecoVision kid, I had my knives out ready to complain if "Lady Bug" and "Mouse Trap" weren't included, but well done! I would add "Nibbler" as well.

Dodge Em is great, although pretty hard just like Jr Pac-Man on the Atari 2600 which is also great. Also like Jawbreaker.

Agreed "Lady Bug" is the best and I used to own a Arcade cabinet of it along with all 4 Mr. Do Cabinets. I have recommended these games to the Evercade FB Groups as a perfect group of games to bring to the system along with Space Panic, Looper, and Cosmic Avenger.

I like your list. My favorites are Ladybug and Ms Pac-Man.

My favorite dot gobbling maze game: Ladybug
My favorite "dot gobbling" game that can arguably be called a maze game: Smash TV
My favorite non dot gobbling maze game: Venture

Smash TV involves collecting packages while avoiding obstacles and shooting at enemies. When a room is cleared, you choose the next room to enter. It's sort of a maze and sort of isn't.

nice video but we agree to disagree about Lock n Case lol

Great list! What about Bomber-Man? Definitely a-maze-ing but mayne not a dot-gobbler. More like a maze-clearer. I dunno what you'd call it.

I recently found an Emerson Arcadia 2001 in the wild and it came with Cat Trax. A very underated 2nd gen system it is.

Hey Brett! I caught you using the Intellivision overlay for Mouse Trap instead of the Colecovision overlay in the little popup there! :P But the point is well-taken that the overlays make a game like Mouse Trap work on both of those platforms. And yes, the Colecovision version is better than the Intellivision Mouse Trap... :)
