I imagine this will find it's way into the F1 performance programs. Can't wait to see where these go.

Printing everything is the future. Exactly like what Koenigsegg is doing. The future is bright that's for sure!

Ive thought this would be a great idea for years, i’m surprised no one did it sooner! In a few years once the cost comes down these carbon/Ti turbos will be perfect.

Bloody awesome, might be highly appreciated in the aircraft community, although cost is a factor. An actual weight comparison between a factory turbo with equivalent wheels would be good.

Since its expensive it's probably great for replacing the turbo on the 2.3 Ecoboost! I'd definitely get one for a Ford Ranger or Mustang that has the 2.3 Ecoboost

It'll suck when the bearings go bad and the wheel chews up the housing

Guys they’re only set up for one off production for very specific applications
Like high budget race team type cars
I imagine the price will come down in the future

30-35 lb weight saving for a cost of $19K turbo with questionable durability as the continious temp rating is 1/4 of a standard turbo.

Assuming a 2500 lb vehicle @ 800 HP using this turbo adding 30 lbs would only necessitate increasing HP output by 9.6 HP to maintain power to weight ratio.

Cool concepts, little over (6.25 lb $19, 000) I'm not sure if I can afford that?

The compressor housing looks awesome, like a proper snail shell with the carbon fibre. 👍 I don't know what to make of it though. 🤨 I like the look, I like the concept, but for $19K per turbo I'd want the entire turbo made out of titanium which would still be lighter than a normal turbo and for certain applications like a big boost Evo, this would be useless with its 45psi. limit. 🤷 That 260*c limit is okay if we were talking engine blocks, but a turbo? 🤨
Telfo, help me out here...normally I'm gushing for mad new products but I'm conflicted with this one. 🤔
