Google Nexus 4 vs LG Optimus G

A second seems a little too long for something like that... but I found the video that this comment mentioned and that Brandon from PocketNow is comparing the multi-touch in Chrome and comparing it to the Galaxy Nexus. While I might agree that multi-touch has a bit of a delay compared to just straight swipe and touch, there can be a number of different factors that contribute to it. I guess I'll address it in my Nexus 4 review on Monday and essentially agree to disagree.

Really impressed. Ordered my Nexus 4 on the 18th and it has already been shipped and should be here 2moro. Even though google said 1-2 weeks for shipping. Good stuff

You are absolutely correct, but it can only be used in Canada on a few specific networks. I think one of them was Rodgers.

correct me if i am wrong but nexus 4 has LTE, just need to be enabled in the service menu

The optimus ui on jelly bean looks Super Awesome. Worth the wait. Also one difference worth noting is the "back, home & menu" touch buttons are placed differently. The optimus has it below the screen whereas the nexus has them placed On the screen, which takes away approx half inch from the display at the bottom of the screen.

You have to be rooted with a modded radio now, and the bands aren't compatible with AT&T(They are however compatible with most carriers in Canada and T-Mobile in the USA)

Do you know anything about the Thermal Throttling, sure they both have it but are they the same, if because on the nexus at 39 degree celsius the performance is cut in half, gpu wise and alot of people say that you play a higher game for like 30 minutes and it will become really choppy and laggy, Need for speed most wanted was what they played. i understand the optimus has same cpu and ram.. soo? any idea?

you should have mentioned how the on screen buttons on the Nexus 4 take up half the screen while the LG Optimus G has capacitive buttons true 4.7 which people like. Although I am a fan of the screen buttons and the customization.

The Sprint version is also the international version? How is that? Sprint is CDMA. International version is GSM.

your very right. although buttons do hide when watching videos. if you root it can can hide the buttons whenever.

It's a software problem. In Dolphin Browser it works as it should and in QuickPic Gallery app it works as well as it should.
