Honda Odyssey Shift Knob Replacement DIY

Here's how to replace the shift knob on a 2005-2010 3rd gen honda odyssey. This will apply to 2011-2017 4th gen as well. (NOT 1st or 2nd gen, and definitely not 5th gen LOL)

Outstanding video from start to finish! From knowing absolutely nothing to disassemling the unit and taking the part to the Honda Dealership for a new one and bringing it home and installing it, plus a test drive took 1 1/2 hours. The part cost $38. Fantastic video.!

Just want to say This video was perfect. I had to replace this button on my 2006 odyssey. It took me a little while but your video was very self explanatory . My brother is mechanic he said I should get one of those stickers on the back of my car that says I’m. YouTube mechanic. lol. I did it now I won’t have to break any more thumb nails pushing that thing down to shift.
