Low slope at bottom of roof with BAD roof leak

Low slope at the end of the roof with a bit of a hump causing a fair bit of rotting decking fascia board and rafter tails. Asphalt shingles only shed water, not make a roof waterproof!

The roofer should've never installed archs at a pitch point like that ever. Another scenario of "it's the next guy's problem". I feel for these home-owners.

That doesn’t look like a low slope roof, but i see your point how that could (and probably would) happen on a low slope roof.

I just done a repair on a flat garage roof, and they cut the rafters short by about a foot all the way around. The same issue here, pooling water at the bottom. It was just plywood holding the water at that point, and it was dipping majorly. Heavy leaking and drywall rot on the inside. We got it fixed just right though I think 😅

I have a lengthwise hump of some kind near the valley.... It gets pretty hot in the summer on my asphalt shingle Do you think I can just use a propane torch and soften those up to relieve the hump because I think I'm getting into the key ways with some water thanks for your help... Jeff
