Sweetwater made the best decision ever when they hired Daniel Fisher. I really love his knowledgable approach, honest reactions, and the genuinely fun time he has playing with synths

Such a nostalgic sound. Behringer is really good at replicating true vintage sounds without any of that "remake" coloration. Sounds like they went back in a time machine and brought back the real thing.

The strings are absolutely gorgeous, and don't forget about the external synth input! With that you can expressively vocode any sound, e.g. drums, other synths, etc. That alone makes this instrument much more than a one trick pony.

Sounds fantastic. This is a dream come true for any prog-rock keyboarder. Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes... it‘s all there! Well done Behringer!

Most beautiful and mesmerizing sounds I’ve heard on a modern synth... wow.

Best explanation of this synth by far. Thank you. I’m hoping Behringer will release the Solina clone they have been working on as I’m interested in the strings primarily.

6:40 A little nod to "Opus Insert" by the rock group Kansas. 10:31 nod to A Clockwork Orange Soundtrack (Henry Purcell's Funeral Music for Queen Mary "March and Canzona").10:40 a nod to "Miss America" by Styx. Nice.

Just on the border of your waking mind
There lies another time
Where darkness and light are one
And as you tread the halls of sanity
You feel so glad to be, unable to go beyond
I have a message from another time...

Back in '74, when we got the string machine. I was 28 and said "It's a shame we ddin't have this a dozen years or so ago". To get what I meant, YouTube up Drifters, Shirelles and Roy Orbison

I need one of these, plus the Solina Module.

Thank you SW / DF/ AV folks - another great video. Always excited to get that DF notification. 2:24 - nailed it on the head, Mr. Fisher. When I closed my eyes, I see Charles Bronson getting sweet vengeance!

Would work pretty cool as a church organ, with the music and prayers said through the funky vocoder, like the voice of God reverberating through the tall walls and high ceiling.

my fav behringer im so very happy to have i can sit there fory days and listen to those strings. i always dreamd of a russian solina eminent enssemble and this mashine gives it to me. im currious if the poly d which im waiting for beat this. thx behringer to give me the uppertunity to build a solid studio and start making music again. i had them all in the 90's... sold them for bread and butter. just decided to start making music again after almost 20 years. know father of 3 kids and a dog...its just immposible to spend the money for gear they way i actually liked....

I ordered a VC340. I really like the buzzy old string machine sound. The GEOSynths guy also has a good video review.
XILS has good software versions of the Roland VP-330 and RS-505 I have the XILS 505. It sounds great.
