I freaking love the frantic situation the whole setting is in. I miss people freaking out, not knowing what to do, not good at killing zombies, and this show delivered it for me. Also them killing them off a few characters u start connecting with eventually die gives me that sense of realism.

1. No common sense

2. They have unlimited ammo, yet they can barely get a head shot

3. I like the camera work

4. The school, lol what

5. Lackluster ending

6. Running, running, and oh.... running

7. Zombies randomly slow down and speed up to give the characters more time to escape

8. Still never explained what the black truck with the couple was even trying to do, if they were trying to get gas, well, there was literally 100s of cars sitting in the parking lot.

9. Where did that homeless guy even come from lol

10. We don’t understand your Korean, please stop saying incoherent sentences

11. The acting was decent

12. It’s been 6 weeks since the infection started yet the supermarket was full of food

13. They choose to wait for the infected to turn instead of shooting it before it has the chance

I just finished the show and it was a disappointment most definitely, I just wanted to go ahead and get it out the way.

I really wanted to like this show, but I just couldn't. Yeah the camera work is very good and there is great use of practical effects, but the story line is so jittery. You're constantly going back and forth between different characters which makes it difficult to follow unless you are completely focussed. I found myself losing track of what was going on a lot. I think most of that is also due to the fact that there is absolutely no character development. It feels like you are just following random people around not really knowing whats going on or what they are doing. From the outset there is no pretext or anything to tell you what is going on. This could be the writers trying to portray the madness and uncertainty that would arise during the beginning of a zombie apocalypse, but it just makes the show seem very random.



The characters also lack common sense. One scene follows a gentlemen running away from a zombie, only to lose it and then proceed to start shouting as loud as he can in the middle of the street for help. There are numerous cringeworthy moments in the show due to the characters acting with such stupidity.


The show also uses countless subtitles that just seem so meaningless. One example of these was "DOG". I guess this 'chapter' was called "DOG" because there is a shot of a dog running into the store which lasts for around 5 seconds. It just doesn't seem meaningful and makes me question why they use these subtitles at all.


(UPDATE - This comment was written halfway through ep 5. It does get better to be honest but a lot of time is wasted at the start imo)

I could go through how bad I thought this was but I’d have to make a video on it...basically, no gore, and a lesson on what NOT to do during a zombie apocalypse, like the whole movie was what not to do.

This show is horrible. The characters are complete idiots. The show makes no sense at all. Don't waste your time on it.

Spears' nametag comes on and off from his army coat. Bad writing. He says in episode 3 he has half a mag left in the pistol, in episode 4 he shoots an infinite amount of bullet. Also in Ep. 3 Rose meets a deaf guy and randomly knows his name in Ep. 4. Ep.4 the deaf guy wants to bang on the drum in the school, Spear says no, 5 second later the other guy looks at the deaf guy and bangs on it like a child. Who wrote that, this movie is a joke. I stopped watching this at Ep. 4 because of the amount of nonsense.

Seriously? This show is so MORONIC, I’m stunned ... I’ll give it to the actors, they were good, and yes, the camera work was good, but the storyline was beyond stupid despite the two or three flashes of brilliance (yeah, that few). First of all, no one seems to know you have to shoot the zombies in the head 🙄 even after repeatedly having no luck shooting them in the chest a dozen times over, and over, and over .... and over, again 🙄🙄
