When 300 UFO Sightings Were Reported in Texas

In early 2008, residents in and around the small central Texas town of Stephenville experienced something unexplainable: UFO sightings, reported by hundreds of people, including local business leaders and law enforcement. Trucking company owner Steve Allen described blinding lights and a feeling of great peace. Constable Lee Roy Gaitan and his son watched an orb appear in the sky and then suddenly zoom away. In this clip, we hear about a sighting from hunter Ricky.

Are we alone in the universe? That tantalizing question is hard to ignore these days, as the Pentagon openly discusses unexplained flying metal orbs and people report unidentified objects in the sky. @Motherboard is exploring these mysterious events in a new four-part docuseries, ENCOUNTERS, streaming on Netflix on September 27.

James Fox covered this sighting in one of his documentaries, I believe it is 'I know what I saw' or 'Out of the Blue'. He interviewed Ricky as well as other locals who had witnessed strange phenomena in the sky over Texas. I believe there was also radar confirmation of something flying over Ricky's ranch.

I was almost 6 years old when this happened while I was living in Nolanville, TX. I was at a peewee football practice and the whole field stood still watching these bright ass lights appear and disappear in the sky, I was completely mesmerized until we heard news that it was air defense drills and that they were flares, after hearing ricky's story I still believe they're flares😂😂
