Alison Cote

Over the past year, Alison Coté has demonstrated exemplary leadership with the Employment and Labour Market Services Division (ELMSD). Through her work as operations manager, Alison has supported ministry ELMSD Teams and contract leads to collaborate at the corporate level and embrace and implement the principles of contract management. This was a significant cultural shift from previous contract management practices within the division and was completed almost entirely in a virtual environment.

Through open and honest communication, Alison has been a beacon for consistently conveying the corporate vision and motivating employees during times of change. Successful implementation of these contract management principles has created workload efficiencies that positioned the division to transition to the desired future state, in which Employment Program of British Columbia contractors are empowered to manage and take responsibility for their contracts.
