The first presidential debate made one thing clear: All 17 Republican candidates want women to have less access to abortions and Planned Parenthood. AJ+ debunks what the candidates said before they get away with it for too long.

I am pro choice not pro abortion. I am not sitting here telling every woman to have an abortion. I am pro life and pro choice. If it were me having a baby i would not abort it, mainly because i am in a stable situation and can handle it. But for those other people that cannot i am not going to stop them from making that decision.

A fetus is not a baby. A woman is not an incubator. An abortion is not a murder.
Abortion is a very complex issue. It is not just about the rights of an unborn fetus or baby. Abortion is about the autonomy of a woman in regards to her own body. No rational pregnant woman wants to have an abortion just to have an abortion.

The vast majority of those who oppose abortion are under the influence of one or more religious groups and their charismatic leaders. Religious leaders are notorious for their ability to whip crowds into a frenzy on moral issues, often with disastrous human rights abuses. Religious leaders use religion to gain political power for themselves and their cronies. They use tools such as sexual guilt and moral guilt to gain access to and control over peoples' minds. Religious leaders create an all powerful deity which they are in communication with. Religious leaders use their charisma to convince their followers that they have to follow the religious leaders to avoid being punished by the deity. If we removed the religious portion of the anti-choice movement, there would be no anti-choice movement. The anti-choice movement is nothing more than a power play, along with prayer in public schools, the teaching of religious creation stories in science classes, and other religious intrusions into public life to regain rightfully lost power over the people. No religious or other private group has the right to wield power over the people. Only a duly elected government of, by, and for the people has the right to wield power.

The Democrats want to trample our second amendment rights. The Republicans want to trample our right to separation of religion and state. We are like a tennis ball being played by two tennis players, and the tennis ball never wins the game. Wake up America! There is an oligarchy which pulls the strings on all of our major political parties. That oligarchy has been using divisive issues to distract the American people from what is really important. We must remove this obscene oligarchy from its positions of power, by any means necessary, before we lose our country to totalitarian oligarchy and corporate dictatorship.

The whole question about abortion is: Are we created in God's image, and deserving of life? (and liberty and the pursuit of happiness?), or are we just monkeys, and none of this really matters? What is the value of human life in our society?

This isn't a war on women, this is fighting homicide . Btw IT IS ILLEGAL TO DONATE EVEN TISSUE. But it goes even further they have taken organs from fetuses . Additionally it is scientifically proven that the baby in the belly can feel pain, and has memory.

Who takes care of those BORN when they parents fail to do so?
- Government
Who is responsible for taking care of those UNBORN when their parents fail to do so?
- GOVERNMENT

The thing that you do not consider them children is the topic we should discuss...
Why does one need to experience an abortion to talk about that? What kind of rule is that? Of course that those who had an abortion (and are open about it) are pro-abortion, those who regret it are ashamed to admit that they killed their children and are not ready to talk about their experiences... how do you even know who/whose wife had an abortion and who has “the right to talk about it”?

I mean do you, people, even hear yourself?!
You are never ready for a baby, every woman will during their pregnancy at least once wake up and feel like she do not want that child and she will feel depressed. Legalizing late term abortion is not about the choice, it is about making it “normal” for pregnant-wild-hormone women to get rid of their unborn babies... The world does not revolve around women, it is not all about women and women rights.
Take it easy, gals...

Yeah, with isis going on and poverty among many americans.
There's a thing wich is much more important than all the wars and poverty and all the troubles with the police, and sadly racism, also people having a bad healthcare within their own country. Something more discusting and vile is in their country that's according to republicans the most terrible thing.
And it's... People who sometimes decide having an abortion.

I am not a thief but i can still have an opinion on what should happen to thieves. Just because i am a man does not mean that i can’t speak up about a clear terrible crime against humanity that is abortion.

If they want to force women to have a child then the government should pay 100% for the child's care and education, including University.

I have never heard a good pro-abortion argument yet, and this video iterates that thought. "My body, my choice; too young; not ready; don't want kids." Bottom line is the only difference between fetal "tissue" and a baby is desire. If I want to get pregnant, then the moment that test reads "positive, " then it's all about baby! If I don't want to be pregnant, then it's just a mass of tissues to be removed like a tumor. I will tell you this, at 15 weeks pregnant I had a miscarriage, and the baby delivered intact. The only difference between that and an aborted fetus was the fact that I deeply wanted the baby to live. How about we women stop disguising words and own up to our actions? If you don't want to get pregnant and be responsible for murdering a child, then don't shack up till your ready for that possibility.

This is a lesser concern, but I still agree with it.Taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood should absolutely be cut off. This money means that even pro-life people are indirectly supporting the murder of unborn babies simply by paying their taxes.
