In my personal experience, ur isha will come to u when u r really in trouble. I was in a deep trouble in my life in terms of relationship then I prayed to my Kula devata, because I asked for help from human beings didn't get help from anyone or even if they want to help it didn't succeed. I got a indication to pray to Hanuman. From then I started to pray to him and he became my ishta. So ur isha will come to u if u really ask for it. This was my personal experience
