Honestly, I thought killing off Carl was a stupid decision before, but this video kinda makes me feel like it was necessary to really showcase Rick's ability to endure and move forward no matter the circumstances.

We noticed how Rick looked in the last season and how he looks in the new spin-off. It is very clear how Rick, being the leader of the community in the last season, became like some kind of grandfather who lost his grip on leadership in communities. Now in the new spin-off, he again looks like a predator who is ready to tear for his family
