In this video I dive DEEP into the best controls, commands & keybinds for Rust moving forward into 2024! If you came here from my graphics settings video, HUGE thanks for all of the support! Anyway, here's a comprehensive list of all of the commands and keybinds I showcased in this video:

The commands:
If I put a * next to the command then it resets when you relaunch the game!

One usefull comment on the maxgibs -1 is that this will also take away certain sounds, which could actually be a bad thing. For example, when a door breaks from a molotovh u threw, you obviouslyt dont see the particle, but you also dont hear the sound. just something to think about when using the setting.

IDK if you have the same issue but I ve tried to use input.holdtime "0.05" and input.holdtime "0.1" but it was openning the wheel for everything like TC/Doors instead of doing the normal action so I had to increase to 0.2 to be able to press E and instant open a door...

Worth noting: Rust does not care if you set a number too large or low. The max valid values for lookatradius are 0.01 and 2 iirc. But you can set it to 0 or 100 and it'd be the same as setting it to those values. So i genrally just run 0 or 2 depending on what i want to look at.

the light on while aiming down site is that ment to crouch me also? it does not if so trying to figure way to turn laser on and crouch XD

The maxgibs seems to be perm now.
This is what I use. Some are for performance, and adjust maxthreads to your liking. EG. I have a 16threaded CPU, have set it to 12 (8 is default).
Some settings get reset such as minsteps/steps depending on the server you connect to.
I toggle maxgibs between -1 and 0, as hearing items/building with destruction sound is useful.

i have 70fov zoom when i press n/m and c how do i unbind the n/m if you know?

i cant equip and unequip my jetpack by pressing down on my mouse wheel (mouse 2 according to Rust control settings). I used to be able to just click fly click land so simple so easy. I must be missing something? Someone clue me in please.
