I’m just so glad that Hot Summer Nights helped me find this song. Now I listen to it everyday, and it makes me feel so good.

The nicest man in music that I ever met. As teenagers, my friend and I would sneak backstage at The Howard Theater in DC pretending to be high school reporters. Chuck basically adopted us whenever he was in town and took us with him everywhere.

Listening to this nice song on 13 March 2023, a month after Chuck’s passing on 16 February 2023. RIP Mr Jackson, another voice from heaven returned to heaven. Peace

Chuck Jackson, Jackie Wilson, and Sam Cooke.

🗣The voices, the talent, the smooth moves on stage of these three soul singers.

What a great time for that generation.

Just some of the names of a few of the talented recording artists of the 60's.

I have not seen anything like that kind of talent here in the 21st century IMO.

RIP Chuck Jackson, Jackie Wilson and the Great Sam Cooke!!

A blast from the past.

I needed that.

It was good for my SOUL!!

I was only 14 when it came out and to me it was the most beautiful song ever made. And 56 years later it still touches my heart.

I first heard this in seventh grade and asked my dad to buy a copy for me. He said of course it was just "rock and roll" but finally bought it for me. I asked him to listen and in a short time he was impressed by Chuck's voice but also the piano and strings. He thanked me!!
