This was actually a REALLY helpful video-- Tucker showed his thought process of when NOT to launch, how to choose to abort, when not to force it. I could be accused of committing too early and trying to force launches (and it's cost me some money, but fortunately not injuries). It just took Tucker getting on a bike, with a ridiculous motor, to sort of pull him down to the level I'm at in my launch thought process, and I really appreciated seeing this. It was chance to see a "great pilot brain" at work in a "new pilot scenario". Glad you decided against trying to get this to work, thanks for leading by example.

Awesome Idea Tucker! I often wondered how combining the Motor with a Bike would work - also for the Road, which you already answered. Unfortunately, here in Germany, every tiny thing is regulated, so we can't do any of that. But that's where you come in! Greetings man!

Thanks for documenting this awesome failure! It's exactly the kind of thing I would also attempt (once I had many "normal flying" hours under my belt, as you do). Love that you record and post even the experiments that don't turn out as anticipated.

Others have launched with bikes with PGs. You are PREjudiced against the concept with this half-ass, make shift attempt. BUILD the power unit into the bike. Do some googling and discover others are already offering air/ground (3x wheels) TRI-ikes using PPGs. Put training outrigger wheels on the (2x wheels) Bi-ke for ground stability or use a paved road. Sheees. What is wrong with this can't do generation? The point is before or after landing with a bike PPG you have GROUND MOBILITY. A 2-wheel PPG IS going to happen. Maybe not to those who think they know it all.
