Hi sir! i wanted to ask on question e) ii) if it was var(y)= var(0.5w + 255) would we still not take it into account and do var(y)=0.5^2Var(w) ?

Hir sir, when if the question asked for the standard deviation do we just divide the y variance by 0.5 or square root the 0.5 then divide by varinace y?

In other maths we always divide x/y by the (n) number
What happened here?



is it like this??- They asked us to find the mean of W itself so we didn't divide it by 88?
am i correct sir
